Going Digital – November 2011

The Local Circuit was hired on to assist a busy financial services company to go paperless this month. Our team visited their office in downtown Ft. Worth and reviewed their paper storage and filing situation.  With their current plans to place an employee on the road full time and addition of a remote office out of state we put together a plan to digitize their current paper storage and make it available to the entire staff across the country.

Our staff picked up the documents and in less than a week was able to digitize the files, index them according to the client’s specifications, and return the documents to be destroyed at a later date. Our team then set their office up with a 256-bit “Bank Grade” internet-based file sharing system that allows their entire team to have access to their company documents in house, on the road, or anywhere across the globe their data is needed!

Going paperless has numerous benefits for a company. Whether it’s taking back lost real estate conquered by numerous file cabinets, disaster proofing your valuable papers from fire and flood, or ensuring your data meets storage compliance guidelines, archiving your outdated paper files can cut costs and improve efficiency at your work place.  Contact us for more details!

Moving On Up – Summer 2011

This summer The Local Circuit was brought on to support a local municipal government and tasked to handle their I.T. needs which included assisting them in moving to their new offices.  Over the summer, our team assisted the city moving their police department, city hall, and public works department into their new offices.

Our duties during this time included technology relocation, network construction, wireless access point installation, and trouble shooting.  At the end of the move our team had setup two independent secure networks inside of the same building.  We also installed VPN equipment and software that allows the police department to communicate securely with the county’s information technology department.
